Meet Lenovo ThinkPad X1, World First Foldable PC (Laptop)

While Samsung and Huawei are already in the news for making foldable smartphones, Lenovo has made history by developing world first foldable PC called “ThinkPad X1“.

The Chinese company unveiled the foldable device at its accelerated conference in Florida on Monday this week being 13th May, 2019.

The foldable 13.3-inch OLED 2K display laptop has been designed in collaboration with LG and can fold in half.

Lenovo’s foldable ThinkPad X1 is powered by an Intel processor and uses a Windows operating system, however, the company is yet to reveal the particular operating system version used on the device.

Also, at the time of this publication, there is information about the full device specifications and performance although Lenovo claimed the PC is made for “highly mobile, tech savvy professionals who demand the best tools”.

“This is not a phone, tablet, or familiar hybrid; this is a full-fledged laptop with a foldable screen,” said Lenovo.
