Microsoft has launched Bing Covid-19 tracker to help anyone track the presence of Coronavirus pandemic from any part of the world.
The Coronavirus tracking website shows a map of the world with bubbles which indicate the extent of the virus’s spread in various countries. The website is available both for mobile and desktop users.
How To Track Corona Virus Spread
First, you will visit the Microsoft bing Covid-19 tracker website, when it opens, panel on the left shows the total number of confirmed cases and a breakdown of the active, recovered, and fatal cases.
The site also displays a list of countries ranked by the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases.
To see more in depth information about a particular region, you can zoom the map and click on the bubbles or countries in the pane to check the number of confirmed cases for each country.
Also just under the statistics area, a feed shows news reports and videos relating to COVID-19 in the applicable country.
To check when the data was last updated, you have to click on the information button in the left-hand pane.
What Microsoft Said About It
According to Microsoft, it updates the site based on data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), and Wikipedia.
